This fan was made as a project for City and Guilds Embroidery.

Hand painted canvas, machine and hand embroidery, Hand dyed fabrics and kumihimo cord. I bought two broken fans from the Royal School of Needlework sale, these pictures have inspired me to create contemporary embroideries for them.
