After being re-introduced to activism while studying for a degree in 2015. I became aware of the austerity and benefit cuts imposed on disabled people. While homeless due to lack of social housing in 2016, I made patches for what was to become a story telling coat about disability oppression. When the chance of a bursary from Surrey Disability Arts came up I decided to apply. I wished to continue getting the story of disability oppression into society. I was also experiencing artists oppression on a massive scale. I decided to create a story telling gazebo to help get information about these two oppressions out into the world.
