This is a call to action. Many will join us during and after the pandemic, because they will enter the halls of disability and artistic oppression. Having experienced this oppression all of my life, as a white, disabled 63yr old working class woman in England. It is through these vast experiences, I put together this substantial body of work. These subjects urgently need to be discussed and debated, and put to the front of the oppression agenda. Notably so that our members of parliament who influence the attitudes in our society with their power and behaviour, can make proper and fair laws and decisions about the finance of the care and austerity they impose. The root of all Oppression comes from unexamined attitudes in the individual. It is my strong belief that negotiation needs to begin to educate MP’s, media and society at large on these issues. So that permanent changes can be made to the dysfunction of our society, that does not allow for all human beings to be treated as human.
